Tutor FAQ
I am currently studying in the US; can I teach Vietnamese students online?
Yes. This is actually our primary model — tutors in the US/UK/Canada/Singapore teaching online 1-on-1 to students in Vietnam. The time zone difference is an advantage: Vietnam evenings are US mornings, making it convenient for both parties.
I haven't graduated from university yet (Sophomore/Junior); can I still apply?
Yes, as long as you meet the AP score requirement (5/5) and have teaching experience. We highly value candidates with practical teaching experience who can empathize with the student journey.
I want to teach "rare" AP subjects (Latin, Italian, Music Theory). Is there demand?
Absolutely. Rare subjects often have stable demand because students have few alternatives. If you have deep expertise in these areas, you will have a significant advantage in our selection process.
Are there any constraints in the tutor contract?
The contract includes a minimum commitment of 10 hours/week for 6 months to ensure continuity for the students. Beyond that, you are in full control of your schedule, additional hours, and time-off requests (with 1-week notice).
