Our promise

Every student deserves a shot at a score of 5 — we build the roadmap to make it happen.

i.

Score-increase guarantee

With packages of 18 sessions or more, if your AP score doesn't reach the committed level after the course, we refund 30% of tuition or provide 12 free sessions — your choice. Details on the Tuition page.

ii.

Right fit or switch tutors

Within the first 4 sessions, if the tutor's style isn't the right fit, switch for free — no explanation needed.

iii.

With you until exam day

We won't leave you halfway — every student gets a free AP Coach by their side from day one to the May exam.

04 — Methodology

A method that helps students score a 5.

Not because the tutors are smarter — but because the method is designed specifically for the structure of the AP exam and the way the brain absorbs complex knowledge. See the full method →

Average AP score target
4–5/5
The 2024 global average was 3.13/5 (per the College Board). The Gia Sư AP method is built to surpass it.

i.

Diagnostic-driven curriculum

Every student starts with a full diagnostic test (3 hours, simulating the real exam). The study plan is built around specific weaknesses, not a generic template.

ii.

Spaced repetition for FRQs

The Free Response Question (FRQ) section is worth 50% of the AP score but is often neglected. We use spaced repetition so students remember and master the College Board's "rubric patterns."

iii.

Mock exam every 4 weeks

Not in-house questions — real College Board papers (2014–2024). Paired with error analysis after each test: which errors are knowledge gaps, which are time management, and which are test-room nerves.

iv.

A dedicated AP Coach

Not the subject tutor — but a mentor for mindset and strategy. The AP Coach meets the student 30 minutes a week, tracks overall progress, and steps in when the student is struggling.

v.

Weekly parent reports

Parents receive a report every week: hours studied, topics covered, assignment scores, and concrete recommendations. No "black box," no guesswork.

05 — Tuition

Three plans, fully transparent on every cost.

No "hidden fees," no "surprise upgrades." You know exactly what you pay, what you get, and what we commit to — from day one.

AP (Advanced Placement) is a college-level program and exam run by the College Board (USA) for high school students. A high AP score (4–5/5) shows a student is ready for a university academic environment and is an important factor in admissions to top US schools. Many universities also let you convert AP scores into college credit, saving time and money.
STEM subjects (Calculus, Physics, Chemistry) require English at roughly IELTS 5.5+. Social science and language subjects (US History, English Lit) require IELTS 6.5+ because of the heavy reading and writing. Our tutors can teach bilingually in Vietnamese and English, which is especially helpful for students still building their academic English.
Yes — especially with foundational subjects like AP Microeconomics, AP Psychology, AP Human Geography, or AP World History. Starting early helps students build up 4–6 AP subjects for their grade-12 profile — an important edge for top-30 schools. We have a dedicated 3-year AP roadmap for grade-10 students.
Every tutor in our network must provide an official AP score screenshot from their College Board account. We also require a university degree and verify it via an .edu email. You can ask to see a tutor's AP score record at any time.
It applies to packages of 18 sessions or more. After the first diagnostic session, we give a written commitment to a minimum AP score. If, after the AP exam, the student doesn't reach the committed score (having completed at least 80% of sessions and all assignments), Gia Sư AP refunds 30% of tuition or provides 12 free additional sessions to retake the next year — the student's choice. Details on the Tuition page.
For AP, 1-on-1 online learning is actually more effective — because 90% of our world-class tutors are based in the US. We use an integrated learning platform with an interactive whiteboard, record sessions for students to review, and share materials in real time. Most students rate the online experience as equal to or better than in-person.
Parents get their own dashboard account with: the class schedule, session recordings, weekly progress reports, test scores, and a direct line to the AP Coach via Zalo. Each month there is a 30-minute meeting between the parent, student, and Coach.
The first step

Book a trial lesson — no commitment, no pressure.

30 minutes with one of our AP tutors. The student takes a quick diagnostic test and the tutor discusses goals and the roadmap. After the session, you receive a detailed report — whether or not you decide to sign up.
