Please read these terms carefully before using AP Tutor's services. By accessing the website giasuap.com or registering for service, you signify that you have read, understood, and agreed to all the terms below.

1.Introduction and Definitions

The website giasuap.com (hereinafter referred to as the "Website" or "AP Tutor") is an educational platform providing 1-on-1 tutoring services for Advanced Placement (AP) subjects, operated by Times Edu.

"We" / "AP Tutor" = Times Edu, the operating unit of giasuap.com[cite: 11]

"Services" = courses, tutoring packages, consultations, mock exams, and other educational products[cite: 11]

"Tutors" = individuals selected and verified by AP Tutor for teaching[cite: 11]

2.Conditions of Service Use

To register and use AP Tutor's services, you must:

  • Be an individual aged 16 years or older, or under 16 with the consent of a parent or legal guardian[cite: 11]
  • Have full civil act capacity according to the Civil Code of Vietnam[cite: 11]
  • Provide accurate and truthful information during registration[cite: 11]
  • Agree to comply with these Terms and the Privacy Policy[cite: 11]

3.Services and Commitments

3.1. Services We Provide

AP Tutor provides the following services:

  • AP Learning Roadmap Consultation — free for the first 30-minute consultation[cite: 11]
  • 1-on-1 Tutoring for AP subjects according to study packages (12, 18, 36, 72 sessions)[cite: 11]
  • Mock exams graded according to College Board standards[cite: 11]
  • Progress reports weekly/monthly for students and parents[cite: 11]
  • Support for official AP exam registration (does not include exam fees)[cite: 11]

3.2. Our Commitments

  • Provide verified tutors (qualifications, AP scores, experience)[cite: 11]
  • Monitor and report your learning progress transparently[cite: 11]
  • Support free tutor changes within the first 4 sessions if unsuitable[cite: 11]

3.3. Results Commitment

Important Note: While we strive our best to support students in achieving their score goals, final AP exam results depend on many factors including personal effort, foundational knowledge, and student testing conditions.[cite: 11]

AP Tutor does not provide an absolute guarantee regarding the score you will achieve. Any specific performance commitment (if any) will be detailed in the service contract and accompanied by clear conditions regarding the number of lessons, minimum practice time, and mock exam participation.[cite: 11]

4.Tuition and Payment

4.1. Tuition Fees

Tuition fees are publicly announced on the Website at the time of your registration. Prices may change over time — the price applied to your application is the price at the time you confirm registration and payment.[cite: 11]

4.2. Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Domestic bank transfer (BIDV, Vietcombank, MB Bank...)[cite: 11]

4.3. Refunds

5.Customer Rights and Obligations

5.1. Your Rights

  • To be provided with the service as registered[cite: 11]
  • To change tutors if unsuitable (as per clause 3.2)[cite: 11]
  • To receive periodic learning progress reports[cite: 11]
  • To have personal data protected under the Privacy Policy[cite: 11]
  • To lodge complaints and request dispute resolution under Section 9[cite: 11]

5.2. Your Obligations

  • Provide accurate information during registration[cite: 11]
  • Pay tuition on time as agreed[cite: 11]
  • Attend all scheduled sessions (cancel at least 24h in advance if unable to participate)[cite: 11]
  • Respect tutors and staff — no insulting, harassing, or discriminatory behavior[cite: 11]
  • Do not record audio/video of sessions without the tutor's consent[cite: 11]
  • Do not share study materials or session recordings with third parties[cite: 11]

6.Intellectual Property

All content on the Website (including text, images, video, logos, interface design, source code) and study materials provided by AP Tutor are the intellectual property of Times Edu or licensed partners.[cite: 11]

You are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use these materials for your own personal study purposes. You may not:[cite: 11]

  • Copy, distribute, or reprint materials for others[cite: 11]
  • Use materials for commercial purposes[cite: 11]
  • Upload materials to public platforms (YouTube, public Drive, Telegram...)[cite: 11]
  • Reverse engineer, modify, or create derivative works from the materials[cite: 11]

7.Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • AP Tutor is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the service[cite: 11]
  • The aggregate liability of AP Tutor for all claims related to a course shall not exceed the total tuition you have paid for that course[cite: 11]
  • AP Tutor is not responsible for your failure to achieve desired exam results if you do not follow the study roadmap, miss sessions, or fail to complete recommended mock exams[cite: 11]

8.Termination of Service

8.1. We have the right to terminate service if:

  • You seriously violate these Terms (fraud, harassment, IP violation)[cite: 11]
  • You fail to pay tuition in full after 14 days from the due date[cite: 11]
  • You provide false information during registration[cite: 11]
  • Your behavior seriously impacts tutors or other students[cite: 11]

In these cases, paid tuition may not be refundable depending on the level of violation.[cite: 11]

8.2. You have the right to terminate service:

  • At any time with 7 days written notice[cite: 11]
  • Refunds are subject to clause 4.3[cite: 11]

9.Dispute Resolution

9.1. Direct Negotiation

In the event of a dispute, parties prioritize resolution through direct negotiation. You may send a complaint by email to admin@times.edu.vn. We will respond within 72 business hours.[cite: 11]

9.2. Mediation

If negotiation fails within 30 days, parties may request mediation at the Vietnam Standards and Consumers Association (VINASTAS) or at the Competition and Consumer Protection Authority (Ministry of Industry and Trade).[cite: 11]

9.3. Litigation

In cases where mediation is unsuccessful, the dispute will be resolved at a competent People's Court of Vietnam according to Vietnamese law.[cite: 11]

10.Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, specifically:

  • Civil Code 2015[cite: 11]
  • Consumer Rights Protection Law 2023 (effective July 1, 2024)[cite: 11]

11.Changes to Terms
